Studio 8

Studio 8 School of Art & Design originated from the artistic workshop “MAVROGENIS”, directed by the late Costas Mavrogenis and George Mavrogenis, which has been artistically contributing to the community for more than a century.

Their genuine and noteworthy artistic work was reflected in a number of pioneering creations and innovative ideas including the Lemesos Carnival and the Lemesos Wine Festival, as well as in stage designs for various theatre plays and shows.

Mavrogenis' family tradition to the cultural life of Lemesos has been evolved by Andreas Mavrogenis, a graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Florence.
