Job Description

Famous brokerage firm BCS Cyprus, which is the part of the financial holding BCS group, is searching for junior IT support engineer to its Limassol office! If you are well versed in Information Technologies, you have an IT education and have some experience in Help desk, Service desk or IT support unit we are glad to welcome you in our gorgeous team!

Main Duties:
a) Installation and configuration of computer operating systems and applications;
b) Troubleshooting of systems and network problems;
c) Performing diagnostics and solving hardware and software faults;
d) Maintaining and auditing office infrastructure including printers, scanners, multifunctional devices, faxes;
e) Ordering office equipment and consumables, negotiating with suppliers;
f) Consulting users regarding any corporate hardware and software related requests;
g) Communicating, assisting and interacting with colleagues from other IT departments in case of troubleshooting, diagnostics and solving technical issues;
h) Making instructions and β€œhow to” guides. Documenting all previously unknown issues;
i) Maintaining corporate IT policies and procedures, keeping them up to date.

Required Qualifications

Requirements to the candidate:
Preferably Cypriot/EU citizen
University degree in technical/IT sciences
IT background or strong addiction to IT
Troubleshooting skills (reading logs, building reports, testing)
Knowledge of general Windows-based systems administration
TCP/IP networks understanding
Good communicational skills
Experience in Active Directory managing. PowerShell scripting will be a plus.
Previous work experience in help desk, service desk or IT support unit will be an advantage.
Languages:
Fluent Russian; English intermediate level as a minimum.
